Kestrel Roguelike RPG Moves Into Active Development

We have some news about what is next at Bronzewing Games: Kestrel Roguelike RPG has moved from early concept into active development. It is our most ambitious project yet, and today it officially becomes a game we are building rather than an idea we are exploring.

Kestrel Roguelike RPG is a story-driven RPG where your choices shape the world and the characters around you. We want a narrative that genuinely reacts to you — where decisions carry consequences, paths stay hidden until you find them, and the world remembers what you did.

That is a very different challenge from Football Idle Manager. Where our first game is about steady progression you can dip into anytime, Kestrel is about depth: characters worth caring about, choices worth agonising over, and a story that rewards curiosity. Building that well takes time, and we would rather take it.

Moving into development means the core of the game is now taking shape — the systems, the tone and the structure of the story. It is still early, and we are being deliberate rather than rushing to show something half-formed. But the direction is set.

We are not announcing a release window, platforms or details yet, and we will not promise anything we cannot stand behind. What we can say is that we will share Kestrel Roguelike RPG as it grows: what we are building, why we are making the choices we are, and what it feels like to play.

In the meantime, Football Idle Manager is out now in open beta on Google Play and continues to be actively developed. Two very different games, one studio, the same goal: make something worth your time. Follow along here for the next update on Kestrel Roguelike RPG.
